INCONTRO CON L’AGENTE
Marco Impallomeni, manager dell’Agenzia MCDomani Artist Management, ascolterà tutti i partecipanti, che potranno chiedere opinioni sulla propria voce e repertorio, consigli e informazioni su come muovere i primi passi nel mondo professionale dell’Opera.
REGOLAMENTO
ART 1 – A CHI SI RIVOLGE
Il Workshop è aperto a:
- studenti di canto e professionisti, italiani e stranieri, limite d’età 40 anni;
- pianisti (senza limite d’età).
Gli allievi si distinguono in:
- Canto effettivi
- Canto uditori: potranno assistere alle lezioni senza potervi partecipare attivamente; hanno facoltà di porre domande tra una lezione e l’altra.
- Pianisti effettivi: 3 posti disponibili.
ART. 2 – PERIODO
Il Workshop avrà inizio il giorno 2 maggio 2024 alle ore 15:00, e si concluderà il giorno 8 maggio alle ore 18 al termine della rappresentazione.
Verrà redatto quotidianamente un “ordine del giorno” con gli orari e le modalità delle lezioni e del lavoro d’insieme.
ART. 3 – OBIETTIVO
Il Workshop è finalizzato alla messinscena, in forma semiscenica, della Bohème di Puccini, con pianoforte e direzione musicale.
Ruoli: Rodolfo (tenore); Shaunard (baritono); Benoit (basso); Mimì (soprano); Marcello (baritono); Colline (basso); Alcindoro (basso); Musetta (soprano).
Verrà utilizzata l’edizione Ricordi.
ART. 4 – SPECIFICHE
- MASTERCLASS DI CANTO
Una parte importante del lavoro vocale verte sul consolidamento della tecnica ideale e necessaria per affrontare con sicurezza i ruoli dell’opera.
- SEMINARIO D’INTERPRETAZIONE SCENICA
Il corso si propone come obiettivi non solo di insegnare scenicamente un ruolo, ma di fornire ai giovani artisti buone strategie per entrare nei diversi personaggi che dovranno affrontare durante la loro carriera. Acquisire o consolidare quelle nozioni basilari che sono importanti per affrontare correttamente il lavoro attoriale.
L’interpretazione vocale e musicale del ruolo verrà consolidata, gettando fondamenta sicure per affrontare il lavoro sinestetico con la regia che porterà a creare “lo spettacolo”
- CORSO PER MAESTRI COLLABORATORI
Il Workshop offre ai pianisti l'opportunità di formarsi e fare esperienza diretta come maestri collaboratori, professione che richiede molteplici abilità e competenze.
I pianisti ammessi saranno impiegati anche nelle prove, e a discrezione dei docenti potranno prendere parte all’esecuzione finale.
ART. 5 – SELEZIONI DI AMMISSIONE
Sarà effettuata una selezione sui files audio/video inviati.

Cantanti effettivi: quota di partecipazione = € 650 € 590
Cantanti uditori: quota di partecipazione = 250 €
Pianisti (effettivi): quota di partecipazione = € 450 € 390
ART. 7 – ISCRIZIONE ALLIEVI EFFETTIVI
Le iscrizioni sono aperte e chiuderanno il 18 aprile.

Per i cantanti, i files inviati devono contenere un’aria o un brano d’insieme tratto dalla Bohème, e un’aria operistica scelta dal candidato;
per i pianisti, i files inviati dovranno contenere una o più brani accompagnati al pianoforte, uno della Bohème e uno da altra opera.
Entro il 20 aprile verrà effettuata la selezione e a tutti gli iscritti verrà comunicato l’elenco degli allievi ammessi.
Entro il 23 aprile deve essere effettuato il versamento della quota di partecipazione e inviata la prova di avvenuto pagamento a:

Art. 9 – SEDE
Le lezioni si svolgeranno presso Ottavanota, Via Marco Bruto 24, Milano.
Art. 10 – ALTRO
I partecipanti devono conoscere a memoria il ruolo/i per cui si presentano, pena l’esclusione dal Workshop.
I partecipanti devono essere presenti per l'intero giorno e tutti i giorni del Workshop, pena la non emissione dell'attestato e la non ammissione alla rappresentazione finale.
L’Organizzazione non coprirà nessuna spesa bancaria relativa al trasferimento di denaro dall’estero.
Vitto e alloggio sono a carico dei partecipanti.
I partecipanti al di fuori dell’Europa dovranno obbligatoriamente presentare alla segreteria organizzativa il visto e/o permesso di soggiorno per l’ingresso nel Territorio della Repubblica Italiana, secondo quanto previsto dalla normativa vigente.
Art. 11 – RAPPRESENTAZIONE FINALE
La rappresentazione finale si terrà l’8 maggio 2024 presso il prestigioso Salone d’Onore di Casa Verdi, Milano.
Tutti gli allievi effettivi parteciperanno alla rappresentazione.
È opportuno munirsi di abito da concerto nero e camicia bianca per gli uomini,
e di abito lungo nero per le donne; verrano date ulteriori indicazioni costumistiche dal regista.
Saranno invitati agenti e/o organizzatori.
Gli allievi che a giudizio insindacabile del docente si saranno distinti nel corso della Masterclass per particolari doti artistiche, potranno essere inseriti nei programmi delle manifestazioni organizzate da Accademia Cantoalato, e segnalati ad organizzatori e/o agli agenti che collaborano con l’Accademia.
Art. 12 – ATTESTATO
A conclusione della Masterclass verrà rilasciato un attestato di partecipazione a tutti gli iscritti, effettivi e uditori, che avranno frequentato il corso per intero. L’attestato sarà rilasciato da Accademia Cantoalato - Associazione Euterpe Ottavanota.
Art. 13 – SERVIZIO FOTOGRAFICO
Sarà realizzato un servizio fotografico della Masterclass e del concerto finale. Le immagini saranno messe a disposizione gratuitamente.
Art. 14 – VIDEOREGISTRAZIONE PROFESSIONALE
Una buona videoregistrazione da inviare ad agenti e/o organizzatori è un dettaglio importante, al quale dare la giusta attenzione.
Il lavoro effettuato professionalmente da Cantoalato è realizzato con due telecamere, montaggio, introduzione grafica e sovratitoli.
La videoregistrazione effettuata da Cantoalato, in accordo con Casa Verdi, costituisce l’unica registrazione autorizzata.
Non è permessa la videoregistrazione del concerto da parte del pubblico e/o di chiunque operi a titolo privato, al di fuori del personale di Casa Verdi e di Accademia Cantoalato.
La videoregistrazione sarà messa a disposizione gratuitamente.
Può essere richiesta inoltre una versione personalizzata del video, contenente soltanto la propria/proprie arie: questo video “ad-hoc” deve essere richiesto alla segreteria; costo è di 70€ e il pagamento deve essere effettuato il giorno d’inizio del Workshop.
Art. 15 – RINUNCIA
In caso di rinuncia per gravi motivi (previa valutazione da parte dell’Organizzazione sulla gravità dei motivi comunicati), la quota di partecipazione, sia per allievi effettivi che uditori, potrà venire restituita solo nel caso in cui il posto vacante venisse occupato da un nuovo allievo, il tutto entro la data del 23 aprile 2024).
Oltre questa data o per qualsiasi altra rinuncia, le quote versate non verranno rimborsate.
Art. 16 – ANNULLAMENTO E RESPONSABILITA’
Per cause di forza maggiore o per comprovata necessità l’Organizzazione si riserva la facoltà di annullare lo svolgimento della Masterclass con la totale restituzione delle quote di iscrizione e partecipazione.
L’Organizzazione declina ogni responsabilità nei confronti di eventuali danni a persone o cose durante tutto lo svolgimento della Masterclass (2-8 maggio 2024).
Art. 17 – TRATTAMENTO DEI DATI PERSONALI
Ai sensi dell’art. 10 della legge n. 675/96 sulla “tutela dei dati personali” si informa che i dati forniti all’atto dell’iscrizione saranno raccolti e trattati ai fini della presente Masterclass.
Art. 18 – LIBERATORIA SUI DIRITTI AUDIO, VIDEO, FOTO
L’Organizzazione si riserva la facoltà di realizzare video, audio registrazioni e foto durante tutta la durata della Masterclass, e di utilizzare tutto il materiale per scopi promozionali pubblicandolo su siti web, socials, radio e televisione senza corrispondere onorari a nessun partecipante.
Art. 19 – COPYRIGHT E DIRITTI INTELLETTUALI
Accademia Cantoalato - Ottavanota detengono i diritti di distribuzione, divulgazione e utilizzo attinenti registrazioni audio, video, pubblicazioni e/o altro afferente alla Masterclass in oggetto.
I Materiali audio e video ceduti all’allievo sono per uso privato (invio diretto a parti terze); potranno essere utilizzati per uso pubblico (pubblicazione sui social e/o youtube) soltanto dietro autorizzazione scritta rilasciata da Cantoalato-Ottavanota,
Sono ammesse registrazioni (audio o video) delle lezioni, solo ed esclusivamente per uso personale. Sottoscrivendo l’iscrizione si accetta la clausola esplicita di non diffusione di tali materiali audio o video tramite qualsiasi mezzo o strumento.
L’iscrizione alla Masterclass comporta l’accettazione incondizionata del presente regolamento.

FACE TO FACE WITH THE AGENT
Marco Impallomeni, manager of the MCDomani Artist Management Agency, will listen to all the participants. They can ask for opinions on their voice and repertoire, advice and information on how to take the first steps in the professional world of Opera.
REGULATIONS
ART 1. - WHO IS THE WORKSHOP AIMED
The Workshop is open to:
- singing students and professionals, age limit 40 years;
- pianists (no age limit).
Students are distinguished in:
- Singing (active students)
- Singing (auditors): will be able to attend the lessons without being able to participate actively; may ask questions between classes.
- Pianists (active students): 3 places available.
ART. 2 - PERIOD
The Workshop will start on May 2, 2024 at 15:00, and will end on May 8 at 18 at the end of the performance.
A daily agenda will be drawn up with the schedules and modalities of the lessons and the work together.
ART. 3 - GOAL
The workshop is aimed at staging, in semi-scenic form, La Bohème by Puccini, with piano and musical direction.
Roles: Rodolfo (tenor); Shaunard (baritone); Benoit (bass); Mimì (soprano); Marcello (baritone); Colline (bass); Alcindoro (bass); Musetta (soprano).
The Ricordi edition will be used.
ART. 4 - SPECIFICATIONS
- SINGING MASTERCLASS
An important part of the vocal work focuses on the consolidation of the ideal and necessary technique to face with confidence the roles of the opera.
- SEMINARY ON ACTING
The course aims not only to teach a role scenically, but to provide young artists with good strategies to enter the different characters they will face during their career. Acquire or consolidate those basic notions that are important to properly deal with the acting work.
The vocal and musical interpretation of the role will be consolidated, laying sure foundations to face the synesthetic work with the direction that will lead to create "the show".
- COURSE FOR PIANO COACHES
The Workshop offers pianists the opportunity to train and gain direct experience as collaborative pianists, a profession that requires multiple skills.
The pianists admitted will also be used in the rehearsals and at the discretion of the teachers can take part in the final performance.

A selection will be made on the audio/video files sent.

Art. 9 – PLACE
The Workshop will take place to Ottavanota, Via Marco Bruto 24, Milano.
Art. 10 - OTHER
Participants must know by heart the role/s for which they present themselves, on pain of exclusion from the Workshop.
Students must be present for the whole day and every day, otherwise the certificate will not be issued and and will not be possible to participate at the final concert.
The Organization will not cover any bank charges related to the transfer of money from abroad to Italy.
Accommodation and meals are provided by the participants.
Participants outside Europe must submit to the organizing secretariat the visa and/or residence permit for entry into the Territory of the Italian Republic, as required by current legislation.
Art. 11 - FINAL SEMI-STAGED PERFORMANCE
The final performance will take place on 8 May 2024 at the prestigious Hall of Honor of Casa Verdi, Milan.
All active students will participate in the performance.
It is advisable to bring a black concert dress and white shirt for men,
and a long black dress for women; additional costume instructions will be given by the stage director.
Agents and/or organizers will be invited.
The students who, by unappealable decision of the Teacher, have excelled during the Masterclass for their special artistic qualities, will be included in the programmes of the music activities organized by Accademia Cantoalato.
Art. 12 – CERTIFICATE OF ATTENDANCE
At the end of the Masterclass a Certificate of Attendance will be issued to all the students who have attended the whole course. The Certificate will be issued by Accademia Cantoalato and Associazione Euterpe Ottavanota.
Art. 13 - PHOTO SHOOT
A professional photo shoot of the Masterclass and the final concert will be held. The images will be made available free of charge.
Art. 14 - PROFESSIONAL VIDEO RECORDING
A good video recording to send to agents and/ or organizers is an important detail, to which to give the right attention.
The work done professionally by Cantoalato is made with two cameras, editing, graphic introduction and aria/s titles.
The video recording made by Cantoalato, in agreement with Casa Verdi, is the only authorized recording.
The video recording of the concert by the public and/ or anyone operating in private, outside the staff of Casa Verdi and Accademia Cantoalato is not allowed.
The video recording will be made available free of charge.
You can also request a customized version of the video, containing only your/s arias/ensemble: this "ad-hoc" video must be requested to the secretariat. The cost is 70€ and the payment must be made on the day of the beginning of the Workshop.
Art. 15 - WAIVER
In case of withdrawal for serious reasons (after evaluation by the Organization on the gravity of the reasons communicated), the participation fee, both for active students and auditors, will be returned only if the vacancy is filled by a new student, all by April 23rd, 2024.
After this date or for any other waiver, the fees paid will not be refunded.
Art. 16 - CANCELLATION AND LIABILITY
For reasons of force majeure or proven necessity, the Organization reserves the right to cancel the Masterclass with the total refund of the registration and participation fees.
The Organization declines any responsibility for any damage to persons or property during the entire course of the Masterclass (2-8 May, 2024).
Art. 17 - PROCESSING OF PERSONAL DATA
Pursuant to art. 10 of Law n. 675/96 on "personal data protection" informs you that the data provided at registration will be collected and processed for the purposes of this Masterclass.
Art. 18 - RELEASE ON AUDIO, VIDEO AND PHOTO RIGHTS
The Organization reserves the right to make videos, audio recordings and photos during the duration of the Masterclass, and to use all the material for promotional purposes by publishing it on websites, socials, radio and television without paying fees to any participant.
Art. 19 - COPYRIGHT AND INTELLECTUAL PROPERTY
Accademia Cantoalato - Ottavanota hold the rights of distribution, disclosure and use of audio recordings, videos, publications and/or other related to the Masterclass in question.
The audio and video Materials given to the student are for private use (direct sending to third parties); may be used for public use (publication on social and/or youtube) only with written permission issued by Cantoalato-Ottavanota,
Recordings (audio or video) of lessons are allowed, only and exclusively for personal use. By signing the registration you accept the explicit clause not to disseminate such audio or video materials by any means or instrument.
Registration to the Masterclass implies the unconditional acceptance of these rules.
